Dobro M47
Here is another Alumalite. This one is different from the two other “Alumilites” on this site. The neck is mahogany and the headstock is a different shape. Plus it has a bound fretboard. That is what makes it an M47, rather than an M46. The headstock overlay is tortiseshell with “Dobro” engraved into it, rather than a decal. The neck on this guitar was signed by Bashful Brother Oswald. Not really his style of guitar, but he was a Dobro player. The original lugged cone, spider and tailpiece are all there, too.
