Dobro M46

Here is another “Alumilite”. This one is similar to the red one, with a Basswood neck and Rosewood fretboard. It has a faux flame finish and Regal style coverplate. I thought the coverplate was not original to this guitar because it wasn’t painted, but then a guitar just like this one showed up on Tim Kummer’s website. It also turned out that the coverplate is German Silver and has an engraved border. The lugged cone, spider and tailpiece are all original.
